On September 24, 1991, three of the most iconic 90's alternative albums were released on the same day - Nirvana's Nevermind, Soundgarden's Badmotorfinger, and Red Hot Chili Peppers' Blood Sugar Sex Magik. Jess first heard Nevermind back in 2006 when she was 13 after a friend sent her a digital copy of the album and Nirvana have since become one of her favorite bands. In June 2019, Jess spotlighted Badmotorfinger on an episode of The Book Club and it got a VERY glowing review that led to Soundgarden becoming one of her favorite bands, and Chris Cornell one of her favorite singers.
